In the Autumn Term we welcome a large number of new pupils in to the Senior School and spend the beginning of the school year getting to know them during a number of different events and activities.

Year 7 headed away from school for the day early in the term to learn a variety of outdoor skills and take part in team building activities to get to know each other as they started their PGS journey in the Senior School.

Later that week they had the opportunity to find out about the array of clubs and activities that they can take part in at the Middle School Freshers' Fayre.

Held in the Middle School Common Room, this is a very popular event. From languages to electronics, wildlife to strategy games there were a lot of decisions to be made about what clubs they could choose to enrich their time at PGS.

Year 9 is a key tranistion period as pupils move from the Middle to Upper School, or join PGS for the first time.

Tutor groups change and pupils become members of a Senior House.

A visit to the Isle of Wight gave Year 9 pupils the opportunity to get to know each other and their tutors, as well as to have a fun day away from school.
